Syston Model Railway Society was formed over twenty years ago after a course on how to build a model railway had taken place at the local community college. The club led a nomadic existence until the Old School committee took pity on the members and offered two rooms for sole use of the society.
At this time, there are two permanently placed layouts, an OO gauge and an N gauge, and a portable N gauge layout for exhibition, Horse Cove.

Currently we are in the middle of building a new N gauge portable layout & in the process of planning a OO gauge portable layout.

We hope you enjoyed our 2009 Exhibiton which has now passed. Below is a sign up box to allow you to receive advanced notice for the 2010 show which will include information regarding which layouts will be attending.
