Syston Model Railway Society was formed over twenty years ago after a course on how to build a model railway had taken place at the local community college. The club led a nomadic existence until the Old School committee took pity on the members and offered two rooms for sole use of the society.
At this time, there are two permanently placed layouts, an OO gauge and an N gauge, and a portable N gauge layout for exhibition, Horse Cove.

Currently we are in the middle of building a new N gauge portable layout & in the process of planning a OO gauge portable layout.
